In addition, older workers often possess valuable experience and skills, which can contribute to workplace efficiency and mentoring younger employees.
On the other hand, early retirement can be beneficial for individuals. Many older workers may experience declining health or reduced energy levels, making it difficult for them to continue working. Furthermore, earlier retirement can create job opportunities for younger generations, helping to reduce unemployment and promote career development.
In conclusion, while increasing the retirement age has clear advantages, a one-size-fits-all approach may not be suitable. Governments should adopt flexible retirement policies that consider individual circumstances and job characteristics.
